Chatfield decreased to 80cfs at 11:30am Saturday, August 19, 2023. Sixx was surfed Friday at low flow but the Chatty drop to 80cfs will essentially take the surf out of Sixx, Chiclets, and Beavers and 16th to a point. Though the desperate surfers might hit Beavers anyway (it was surfed early Saturday) or Dave’s Wave

Look for possible surf at: Dave’s in the late afternoon for Denver; Scout for low flow groveling in Salida; Montrose for good surf. LBK

Still warm out. Dave’s at high tide is surfable in Denver. Or could go grovel at Scout Wave. Or if you got the time, spend a few days at Montrose since it is looking good there. LBK

Like yesterday, no updates from the water managers for Chatty. Beavs, 16th, and Dave’s still have surf. Longboard Bill matsurfed Benni’s at 90cfs. Love it! LBK

Chatty stays the same but looks like there is rain bump in the area for Sixx, Chiclets, Beavers, and 16th. Get them wetty’s on and go surf… check the gauges and cam first. LBK
