Chatfield decreased to 80cfs at 11:30am Saturday, August 19, 2023. Sixx was surfed Friday at low flow but the Chatty drop to 80cfs will essentially take the surf out of Sixx, Chiclets, and Beavers and 16th to a point. DPR is refusing to work with the river surf community on building an access point to the Beavers Wave. Above is a possible solution. Leave break in the railing and build proper steps with large rocks. More info to come.

Come on out RRP. Bring your surf, skate, snowboard, etc gear you want to let go. Note, Protect our Rivers was planning on doing the cleanup from Overland Park to downtown but due to major bridge construction/trail construction, they instead plan to do their cleanup at Overland at 8am.
