“LOCAL’S ONLY WAVE” for advanced to expert surfers!! The wave is very fickle and the water is deceivingly frigid even in middle of summer. Clueless tubers make the wave feel like that video game frogger… Seriously, be careful and go with someone (a local) who has experience surfing there! Watch out for shallow rocks and dangerous foot entrapments. Top surfer’s left eddy is small and tricky. If you miss that eddy, drop through the center of the next drop flat on your back and make a hard quick dash to the next eddy on the left or you are on you way to the park down river to get out and walk back up on the road. Down river, stay away from the Coors right side where you will literally die. Lost boards often go right to never ever be returned by Coors if it is not destroyed going down that reach of the river toward the Coors plant. Farmers not calling for water…. Beavers still got flow to surf at 270cfs and almost 60° water. Bingo also has surfable flow at almost 400cfs but need a thick cold water wetsuit, booties, and gloves. LBK
