AM Report (RRP poor; P-town fun & more flow; Scout fun)

Sunday morning 9/1/24 Labor Day Weekend

Looking good & will get better today (P-town new wave Sunday AM 9/1/24, screen grab, CL vid)

RRP: 110+/- RRP has a little extra native flow in the river on top of the dam release. Will need a very high volume board to surf either Chiclets or Sixx.

Pueblo: 560cfs+/- (predicted) Looking like about 50cfs more water is being released from the Pueblo Reservoir/Dam this morning. The fun wave will get eleven better. Might still be a bit shallow on the front of the wave so watch the kicker.

The orange fence has been removed right at the new wave but it looks like they have more work to be done on the upper sidewalk. Things are open today and likely tomorrow but we are guessing the path down to the wave might get closed during next week.

Scout: 466cfs+/- Scout Wave is reported to be steep and fun. Watch the cam and you can see it collapses on section but cleans right up. Morning crowds are not too bad.

River Surfing Tip: Spread the stoke by being willing to help your fellow surfer figure out the wave you are surfing. Though it might be best to wait for them to ask for pointers before offering up help.

Will update with a PM report.
