Chatty 60cfs (RRP flat; P-town surfable; Scout good)

8/24/24 Going to call it staying at 60cfs out of the Chatfield Reservoir/Dam. Water managers are running late on the official water release order.

RRP: 66cfs+/- Disappointing flow continues. Too bad we don’t have a VFMP version in the S. Platte River (turn it down a bit during the week to save some water and then crank it up on say, the weekends for environmental flush and recreational flows). Pipe dreams.

Pueblo: 375cfs+/- (predicted) Looks like a slight bump up happened out of the Pueblo Reservoir/Dam earlier today. P-town new wave will be surfable but shallow. Bring your bigger board as a possible go to stick along with the shorty. Too bad we don’t have a live cam on the new wave.

Scout: 526cfs+/- Scout has been amazing the past few days at 500ishcfs with a step fun wave. There is a visiting Texas River surfing contingency hanging out at Scout today getting the taste of a wide green faced wave. Too bad we are all not there also surfing.

Keeping it short today…. So jealous of you surfing it!
