The main reservoir release gate will remain at 100 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Sunday, August 11, 2024.
RRP: 122cfs+/- Sixx can be gingerly surfed at 125cfs upwards. Chiclets will have a wave at this flow. Benni’s is not really surfable below 180cfs, but is fun to try.
Pueblo: 1,030cfs+/- P-town new wave was surfed yesterday with about a thousand cfs. Reports were the wave was very good. Hopefully same today. Head down and get some surf because starting likely Monday next week the wave is on pause for surfing pending construction going on starting that will require stying clear of the new wave.
Scout: 692cfs+/- Last weekend before VFMP flow fades after 8/15. Extremely crowded line-ups expected again.. KEEP YOUR RIDES TO 30 SECONDS & EQUITABLE LINEUP SIDES (ie short side for 1 surfer goes for every 2 surfers on the long side) 😎
River Surfing Gear: Lib sale?!?…. Apparently this was recently banned from Facebook for violating some sort of river surfing FB rules I don’t understand…. Lib Tech, yeah the snowboard company that also makes ding resistant surfboards, is having a very rare sale on surf boards. Still have to pay shipping and get a set of fins (suggest the Poly Reinforced 5 fin set for best value) but are you going to save some coin that does not often happen on Lib’s surfboards.
