The main reservoir release gate will remain at 215 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 10 cfs today, Sunday, July 21, 2024.
RRP: Variable cfs between 300’s and 200’s as it looks like Sixx will drain off a bit today and will clean up but might see more gutter bump flow if it rains later in the day. Should be a changing fun day at Sixx, Chiclets, and even Benni’s.
Check the closest gauge to RRP (Union) but note it often lags a couple of hours from time to time. It is best to then look at the pole cam for the 15 minute update picture to give you an idea how Sixx is surfing.

Pueblo: 900cfs+/- Uncrowded P-town will be real fun as it settles back to about 900cfs
Scout: 700cfs+/- Scout Wave is surfing well but will likely be crowded.
Montrose: The forgotten surf spot about 4 hours from Denver is surfable. Keep it in mind when we lose water at the end of summer; as Montrose is surfable to the end of Oct.

River Surfing Tip: Gutter bump surf can be cold so be prepared with a thicker wetsuit for rain showers and breezy conditions.
