The main reservoir release gate will be reduced from 475 cfs to 350 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Saturday, July 6, 2024.
RRP: Sixx will likely need an adjustment as the water backs off but we should have an “A-frame” wave going between the walls. The line up will get deep so keep the rides below 30 seconds unless you got a signed note from your dear mom saying you need longer rides. Benni’s was shaped but probably will hold and Chiclets will have a wave going.
Pueblo: Weekend hours?
Scout: Report from feet on the ground says the wave dropped to what was considered the best it was last year, but with crappy swims behind it now. Swims are a bigger pain in the lower flow than when it was higher flow. The “suck hole” is pretty much gone but now you deal with the river current not really slowing by the side walk making it tricker when you are down steam getting out along with the lower water and rocks on side of side walk coming into play. But you can walk up the side walk now as current is not that strong. About knee high at highest.
