Chatty dips to 625cfs

The main reservoir gate release will decrease from 750 cfs to 625 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

RRP: Sixx will likely still be blown out because of high native flow in the river. Keep an eye on the cam and Union gauge to see if things drop below 650cfs and Sixx might be surfable. Though Benni’s will be the spot to surf. Might want to take a look at Chiclets since it has been showing a green face at different flows.

Trestles Wave: Is likely surfable but is a no joke wave to be scouted and sized up if safe to attempt. WHEN IN DOUBT DON’T GO OUT.

Clear Creek: Experts only flows right now. WHEN IN DOUBT DON’T GO OUT.

Scout: Blown out

Pueblo: There is an alert to stay out of the river due to incredible high flow and even kayakers can get fined for entering the water but kind of doubt anyone will be out there enforcing it beyond tubers and cheap rafts. WHEN IN DOUBT DON’T GO OUT.
