The main reservoir release gate will remain at 900 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Big Benni’s is on fire per folks surfing it late yesterday and earlier today.
Cherry Creek Dam is releasing 1,300 in 15 min intervals and multiple times today that then take 6 hrs to get to Trestles Wave.
If you want to see Trestles up it will bump up like 500cfs more (as the water flow spreads out) most of the day so will be running between 1,200cfs to 1,500cfs or more.

Be cautious around Cherry Creek today and only surf Trestles after scoping it for safety at the wave and down from it for things like strainers (logs, branches, trees, etc) and for any strange hazardous currents.
When in doubt, don’t go out.
