The main reservoir release gate was decreased from 1400 to 1050 cfs at 8:45am then temporarily decreased to 100 cfs at 11am due to a safety hazard downstream of Chatfield reservoir. The release will increase once the hazard is removed this afternoon. The fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Friday, May 17, 2024.
This will make for some odd surf happenings around 1pm. Might get to surf Sixx for like 10 minutes for example… Listen to what the GOAT has to say about this… hahaha
