The main reservoir release gate will be increased from 50 to 80 cfs, and the fish hatchery will remain at 5 cfs today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Not really enough for any good RRP surf today though might see some close indicators of poor surf at Sixx and Chiclets. Maybe a rain bump end of week and weekend for Sixx.
Beaver’s is still surfable.
Gear: Deal for the right river surfer.. Used Lib Tech 5’4” Short Round $375 (no fins) + $85 shipping shaped circa 2016. https://usedsurf.com/54-lost-short-round-25l-used-surfboard-38428/ Board is similar to the Lib PJ HP 5’4” except a bit thinner and would also surf somewhat like a 5’1” or 5’3” regular Lib PJ but not as floaty. Good for an experienced river surfer looking for a quick speedy board for higher flows at Sixx and higher flows at Scout. Would suggest Lib Poly Reinforced 5 Fin Set for it that are bomb proof in the river for $50 w/ a bar of wax to score free shipping from Evo.
