The snowstorm Sat/Sun dropped over 8 inches of snow in Metro Denver; and with a melt-off in the next day or so, we might see some surf. Keep an eye on the RRP gauge and Sixx Poll Cam for some very cold surf.
Beaver’s looked surfable Sunday and Dave’s Wave has some flow pushing toward 500cfs. RRP is not showing the bump yet but later Monday into Tuesday Chiclets, Benni’s and Sixx might see some surf.
Will need at least 5/4 wetsuit with a hoodie, and at least 5mm booties and gloves since the S Platte will be hovering around 40° in the river.
