Not going to say done yet for the river surf season because there is local surf and travel surf to be had.
Look for a 7:30am session at 16th St Wave Saturday with Mr Mike and Longboard Bill.
Dave’s is always surfable, and the Denver crew are surfing Scout’s last big flow this weekend.
Scout will likely drop to 500cfs Monday/Tuesday. Hopes are we are wrong, but 500cfs is good to surf Scout. Really wish for more flow for Scout but will keep an eye on it for everyone.
Psst… Montrose holds flow to end of October. Will try to get some intel on that wave for ya.
PLACES TO SURF: See table below.
| Beavers | Not Surfable | Too low of flow |
| 16th Street | Maybe Surfable | Might be to low |
| Dave’s Wave | Surfable | High tide is in the afternoon |
| Bingo Wave | Surfable | Need a high volume board or inflatable board |
| Scout Wave | Surfable | Crowded but well worth the drive and wait in the queue |
| Montrose | Surfable | No intel on how well it is surfing |

RIVER SURFING TIP: The Denver Surf Report is currently the only place that gives pre-release info on Chatfield before it hits the gauges. Hopefully we can get the State to improve on that.
