Chatfield Reservoir release increased from 240cfs to 340cfs Wed 7/5/2023

The official/formal word just received. Getting a 100cfs more from Chatty today that was released at 10:15am.

With the S. Platte rain bump from last night and rain water working its way down from the foothills, the current Union (RRP) gauge is somewhere around 330cfs….. Should see continued 300cfs-ish and possibly 400cfs+/- at RRP at the by early to mid afternoon.

Rain is in the forecast, so we might get even more flow as well.

Need your wetsuit today for precipitation and windchill!!!

Oh, and you are afraid of rain bump surf, “don’t drink the water“.

“This tea tastes rather funny”…. That’s nothing Dorothy, “Look at that, they are surfing the S. Platte River again after it rained… how disgusting…..”
