Big Benni’s gets bigger.!!’
Tip to catch Big Benni’s :
Try jumping off different spots on to Benihanas.
Go from the farthest corner and suitcase drop/jump up on the wave with a bit of a lower stance to then roll down into the wave from the top of the stinger.
Some people are having success with a more momentum step into with skate/slide jump in.
Still others are trying with mixed success the “Salida tail drop” that looks like setting up and dropping in on a 1/4 pipe with the foot on the back of the board and hand on the nose.
Lastly, a pop-up is solid on the big stinger/tongue since the fast moving water makes the board sturdy and gives a downward ocean popup feel.
Get it. This is an epic flow giving us “Big Bennies”.
