Why with one of the best snow seasons in decades, the S. Platte river waves are being held back? Maybe spring has been cooler and a bit wetter for the farmers to make any demands for water from the Chatfield Reservoir? Maybe it is the S. Platter River basin snowpack not as higher as elsewhere?… Maybe we need to make some sort of surf sacrifice to the water deities?!?
And why is pickleball such a hated sport by Denver Park and Recreation? Doinka, doinka, doinka… Click on this story “Appeal Filed Alleging Denver Parks & Rec’s Pickleball Actions Don’t Hold Up“
Last year’s river surfing season for metro-Denver, we had a few surfable water Chatfield Dam releases in April 2022 but, things didn’t get flowing until May 24th, 2022…. Maybe we just need to be patient.
Suggest a surf sacrifice (but keep it “PC” in order to get published)
