Mr Zog’s Sex Wax has been around since the 90’s and used by surfers to wax their surfboards (the top) for decades. Problem is finding surf wax in Colorado for river surfing. Look no further than your local hockey rink or hockey pro-shop. Zogs makes wax that is used for the blade of hockey sticks to help lift the puck when the player takes a shot. The bar of wax looks exactly the same except it is marked “hockey formula”. Truth is that this is the same surfboard wax for cold water.
So next time you are jonesing for some surf wax, look up your closest hockey rink or hockey shop.
